January 27, 2006, Newsletter Issue #133: Cheer Squad Scrapbook Layout Idea

Tip of the Week

I suggest that you treat a cheer squad as you would a sports team. Use the team colors and name on your scrapbook page layouts. Document any winning games, cheer squad practice times, interesting things like how much the uniforms cost and if you really want to be cheeky, who is dating who--that will make for interesting reading in ten years´ time. You can also journal the cheers they use and have them pose for pictures. Another neat idea is to make a background using thin strips of coloured paper put together to look like pom poms or even drawn or stencilled pom poms. Use themed die-cuts to accent your pages.
