Tip of the Week

As I said last week pages in your own wedding scrapbook are best kept classic. The easiest way to obtain a classic look is to use black pages. http://www.Scrapbook-tips.com/Tip/56429.asp some tips on working with black pages in general.

My last word of advice on the subject of wedding scrapbooks is to remember to journal. I have seen wedding scrapbooks which resemble the type of album handed to you by a professional photographer. While they are nice they are not personal and not really a scrapbook. Don`t forget to write all those important things such as costs, venues, bridal party names, your own names and don`t forget to write in the date of the event.

Finally, I know I promised a paper piecing pattern of a groom to go with our bride. I am having a little trouble with it (he looks a little girlie) and will not upload it until I am happy with the result. Instead, this week I have uploaded a rosebud pattern that you may want to use to decorate a banner or border.
