Tip of the Week

Ever looked through your photo album and wondered who that man in the hat was or when that family picnic happened because the photo hasnīt been labelled correctly? The least you should write about a photo or group of photos on a related theme is "Who", "What", "Where" and "When". It is also worth adding "Why." Because of our familiarity with our photos, it is sometimes easy to forget to document these basic things. Once you have labelled your photos, have a tolerant friend check that all the info is there, otherwise, put the photos aside for a day or two and run through the labelling again yourself with a check list. Donīt leave it too long. The palest ink is truer than your most vivid memory.
