Mickey Mouse Scrapbook Page Idea
Disney scrapbook pages are popular with scrappers. You can make Disney scrapbook layouts for any type of scrapbook, even if you aren't scrapbooking your Disneyland vacation. Mickey Mouse is a big part of the Disney family and using this theme doesn't have to break the bank when it comes to scrapbooking supplies.
Here is one background idea for making a cute Mickey Mouse scrapbook page. First, cut out large circles in two different sizes. Use a sheet of black cardstock and cut one large 6-inch circle (for the head) and two 3-inch circles (for the ears). Glue the circles to a yellow piece of cardstock cut 11 x 11, then glue the yellow cardstock to a 12 x 12 piece of red cardstock. The large Mickey Mouse head will serve as your background and you can place a photo in the circle used for the head (this will be your focal point). Use Disney die cuts, Disney scrapbook stickers or other embellishments to add some extra flair. You can often find these extra accessories online under discount scrapbook supplies. The ears can be used to mat embellishment or as journal blocks. This simple page idea has many possibilities; it is up to you to fill in the blanks.
You can also put a different twist on this page by doing several small mouse heads instead of one large head. Use the same idea with the black circles, but scale them down to fit several of them for a dimensional background (so it looks like patterned paper with a twist) and then create some photo mats for your photographs.
