Tip of the Week

Imagine my horror when I got back the shots from my husband´s 40th birthday bash only to find that my misuse of our new camera had resulted in prints minus the tops of heads! Yes, I should have had a test run of the new camera but it was too late to cry over spilt milk. What I did was create a border of silhouetted head shots across the bottom and sides of the page. The silhouettes with full heads were placed along the bottom and the decapitated ones were placed up the sides with other shots overlapping. This made the layout look as if the tops were still there, hidden away behind another shot. The "spectacular" shots of my half headless husband blowing out his cake was enlarged and placed right at the top of the page. This gave the illusion that it was meant to be like that. Not one person looking at the layout has commented on my terrible photography.
