Scrapping For Others or Scrapper For Hire, as it is sometimes called, is another cost effective way to start making money doing something you love. Scrappers for hire will make scrapbook pages for people who do not want to do albums themselves. There really is a market in scrapbooking for others. Many people want to have their memories preserved but don`t have the time or patience to do it on their own. Most scrappers for hire will charge a set fee per page. Some of them also offer different levels of pages at different prices. For instance a page using only the pictures and matted would be $5 and a page using the pictures matted and a handmade embellishments would be $10. There are several Yahoo groups where scrappers for hire share tips and ideas.
Many scrappers for hire will also sign up with a direct sales company so that they can buy products for their customers albums with their wholesale instructor price.
One drawback of scrapping for others is that it is very time consuming to make an album for someone. Make sure to set your price per page to compensate you for the time you are spending!
