Disney Scrapbook Border

Here is one Disney scrapbook layout idea. Make an easy border for your Disney scrapbook pages by using tags. Pick a theme, such as your favorite Disney character. For example, Mickey Mouse would use red, black and yellow colors. Start by cutting out your border with even strips of paper. Cut red cardstock into 2.5 inch strips and cut some yellow cardstock into 2 ¼ inch strips for a layered contrast.

Come up with some words that relate to Mickey Mouse like Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, ect., and print or stamp them on some cardstock (black or white would match this color theme). Now, create tags around your words, they can be different shapes and sizes just make sure they are small enough to fit in your border strips. Tags can be made with templates, paper punches, etc. Once you have cut out your tags, you can punch some holes in the end to add fiber or ribbon embellishments. After you insert your embellishments, you are ready to place your tags on your page border. Cover your border on all four sides with your tags in a repetitive pattern or you may choose to only do two sides. Make your tags stand out by matting some and leaving others with a single layer. Use your imagination and see what you come up with.
