Tip of the Week

As you continue your scrapbook making hobby, it is important to pay attention to the basics. If you are going to spend a lot of time and money taking photos and mounting them it is important to choose the right scrapbook album. Always choose an album that is lignin and acid free. Lignin is a chemical in wood pulp which when not removed in the paper manufacturing process will cause paper to yellow and crumble. Both acid and lignin accelerate photo fading and general deterioration. Donīt be stingy when purchasing your albums. It is worth spending extra on getting the right basic scrapbooking supplies.
